Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Join University Home Care Inc as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Westland, MI, where you will provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to our patients in a supportive and collaborative environment. Your expertise will help improve the quality of life for those we serve, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care. Its Tuesday and Thursday, 16 hours in total.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily activities
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Document patient care information accurately and timely in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards
• Educate patients and their families on health management and care procedures
• Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations

Requirements

• Current LPN license in the state of Michigan
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience plus
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Basic computer skills for electronic charting
