Home Health Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide in-home care to our clients in Temperance, MI. In this role, you will assist patients with daily living activities, promote their independence, and ensure their comfort and safety in their homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support clients with mobility and transferring between bed, wheelchair, and other positions.
• Monitor and report changes in clients’ health and behavior to medical staff or family members.
• Help with light housekeeping tasks including meal preparation, laundry, and cleaning.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Follow care plans and instructions provided by nursing staff or physicians.
• Maintain accurate records of services provided and client progress.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or related caregiving role preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes in Temperance, MI.
• Compassionate, patient, and attentive to client needs.
