Home Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Assistants to provide exceptional support to our clients in Ann Arbor, MI. This role involves assisting individuals with daily activities to promote their independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety at all times.
• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, cleaning, and organizing.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals.
• Report any changes in client’s condition or needs to supervisors promptly.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or related healthcare field is a plus.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain confidentiality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation to and from job site in Ann Arbor, MI.
• Background check clearance as required.
