Personal Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide to provide exceptional care and support to our clients in Saint Clair, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities to help them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
• Provide mobility assistance including transferring and positioning
• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to ensure a safe and clean living environment
• Monitor clients’ health status and report any changes to the care supervisor
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
• Maintain accurate records of care provided

Requirements

• Previous experience in a care-giving role preferred but not required
• Ability to perform physical tasks required for personal care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable
• Must pass background check
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus
