Direct Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Workers to provide exceptional support and assistance to our clients in Pontiac, MI. As a Direct Care Worker, you will play a vital role in helping individuals maintain their independence and improve their quality of life through personalized care and support.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Assist clients with medication reminders and monitoring health conditions as instructed.
• Support clients in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care.
• Document client care and report any changes in condition to supervisors promptly.
• Maintain client privacy and confidentiality at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience in direct care or a related healthcare field is a plus.
• Compassionate and patient with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow care plans and work independently.
• Reliable transportation to and from client locations.
• Must be able to pass background checks.
