Direct Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Workers to provide high-quality care and support to our clients in St. Clair Shores, MI. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities to help them maintain independence and improve their quality of life. Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Help clients with mobility and transfers to ensure safety
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
• Monitor and report changes in client condition or needs to supervisors
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
• Follow all care plans and company policies to ensure quality service

Requirements

• Previous experience in a caregiving or healthcare role is an asset but not required
• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and team members
• Reliable transportation to and from client locations in St. Clair Shores, MI
• Must be able to pass background checks
• Physical ability to assist with mobility and perform caregiving tasks
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed
