Home Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide exceptional care and support to clients in Plymouth, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities to enhance their quality of life and promote independence.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance
• Assist with medication reminders and basic health monitoring
• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a safe environment
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Document care provided and report any changes in client condition

Requirements

• Prior experience in home care or a related field is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow care plans and safety protocols
• Reliable, compassionate, and patient demeanor
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
• Ability to pass a background check
