Home Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide quality in-home care to clients in Ecorse, MI. As a Home Care Worker, you will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being in their own homes. This role requires a caring attitude, reliability, and the ability to work independently while following care plans.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support clients with mobility and transferring safely within the home.
• Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, meal preparation, and cleaning.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Follow individualized care plans and report any changes in clients’ conditions to supervisor.
• Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or related field is an asset.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes in Ecorse, MI.
• Pass background checks.
