Home Health Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential care and support to clients in Garden City, MI. As a Home Health Aide, you will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being in their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Help clients with mobility and transferring safely to prevent injuries.
• Provide medication reminders and assist with prescribed exercises as directed.
• Monitor and report changes in clients' health, behavior, or environment to the supervisory staff.
• Prepare meals, assist with feeding, and ensure proper nutrition and hydration.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to promote mental and emotional well-being.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or in a similar caregiving role is a plus.
• Ability to follow care plans and work independently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, compassionate, and patient with a genuine desire to help others.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required.
