Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the home setting, including assessments, treatment, and care planning.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and families on health management and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and services.
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards to protect patients and staff.

Requirements

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in nursing, preferably in home health, hospice, or related fields.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within Wayne County, MI.
• CPR certification preferred.
