Caregiver

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to join our team in Van Buren Township, MI. As a caregiver, you will provide essential support and assistance to our clients, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Monitor clients’ health and well-being and report any changes to the appropriate personnel
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment
• Follow care plans and instructions provided by medical professionals
• Ensure client safety at all times

Requirements

• Prior experience in care giving or a related field is a plus
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass background checks
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed
