Personal Support Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers to join our team in Plymouth, MI. In this role, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health or well-being to supervisors and healthcare professionals.
• Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety at all times.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and client progress.
• Follow care plans and adhere to agency policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience in personal care or a similar role preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
• Ability to pass background checks.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from client homes in Plymouth, MI.
