Personal Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our team in Dearborn Heights, MI. In this role, you will provide essential personal care and support to our clients, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
• Assist with mobility and transferring clients safely.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks.
• Monitor clients’ health and report any changes to supervisors or medical professionals.
• Maintain accurate records of care and services provided.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant or in a related caregiving role is a plus.
• Ability to follow care plans and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to pass background checks.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are a plus.
