Direct Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Workers to join our team in Pontiac, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support and care to individuals in their homes, helping to improve their quality of life and maintain their independence.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Help with light housekeeping tasks and medication reminders.
• Monitor and report any changes in the client's condition to the supervisory team.
• Follow care plans and ensure all tasks are completed safely and respectfully.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a caregiving or support role is a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and team members.
• Reliable transportation to and from client locations in Pontiac, MI.
• Background check may be required.
