Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

University Home Care Inc is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide exceptional patient care in Livonia, MI. As an integral member of our healthcare team, you will deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing services to our patients in a supportive and professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients following established care plans and physician orders.
• Monitor and record patients' conditions, symptoms, and progress.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Assist with patient hygiene, mobility, and daily living activities as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation.
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and health regulations.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain nursing certifications and stay current with best practices.

Requirements

• Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Michigan.
• Previous nursing experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
• Basic computer skills for documentation purposes.
