Home Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Care Assistant to provide in-home support and care to our clients in Hartland, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being in their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Help with meal preparation and feeding, following dietary guidelines.
• Assist with mobility and transfer to prevent falls and injuries.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to supervisors.
• Follow care plans and company policies to ensure quality care delivery.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or related field preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting and mobility assistance.
• Reliable transportation to and from client homes in Hartland, MI.
• Pass background check.
• Compassionate, patient, and trustworthy demeanor.
