Home Care Aid

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aids to provide high-quality support to clients in Inkster, MI. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being in their homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, cleaning, and organizing living spaces.
• Monitor and report changes in client’s health or behavior to supervisors or healthcare professionals.
• Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation of services provided.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or similar caregiving role is a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively and show empathy toward clients.
• Reliable, trustworthy, and punctual with strong work ethic.
• Ability to lift and assist clients safely and follow proper infection control protocols.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is preferred.
