Home Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Assistant to provide quality in-home care to clients in Ida, MI. The ideal candidate will support clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Help with light housekeeping duties including meal preparation, laundry, and cleaning
• Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to supervisors
• Assist clients with mobility and transferring safely
• Follow individualized care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate records of services provided and client progress

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or related field preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and their families
• Reliable transportation to and from client homes in Ida, MI
• Basic knowledge of personal care and safety procedures
• Ability to pass background checks and meet company health standards
