Home Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide quality in-home care services to our clients in Ecorse, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities to promote their independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Help clients with mobility and transfers safely.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, meal preparation, and cleaning.
• Monitor clients’ health and report any changes to healthcare professionals or supervisors.
• Follow care plans and maintain accurate records of care provided.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or related field is a plus.
• Ability to provide physical assistance and perform household tasks.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Reliable, compassionate, and patient approach to caregiving.
• Must be able to pass background checks and comply with all regulatory requirements.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
