Home Care Aid

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aid to provide in-home support to clients in the Bloomfield Hills, MI area. The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being in their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Help with mobility and transferring as needed
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to supervising staff
• Follow care plans and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or related field preferred
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and assisting clients
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, compassionate, and patient
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
• Background check
