Direct Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Care Workers in Marysville, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Help clients with mobility and transportation to appointments or errands as needed.
• Monitor and report any changes in client’s condition to supervisors or medical staff.
• Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a direct care or caregiving role is a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and team members.
• Reliable transportation to and from work locations.
• Ability to pass background checks and meet health and safety standards.
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
