Personal Care Attendant

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Attendant to join the team at University Home Care Inc. In this role, you will provide personalized care and support to clients in Allen Park, MI, helping them with daily living activities to maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing
• Help clients with mobility and transfers
• Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Monitor clients’ health and report any changes to the healthcare team
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients
• Follow all care plans and comply with company policies and procedures

Requirements

• Previous experience in personal care or a related field is a plus, but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle physical demands of the job
• Reliable, compassionate, and patient
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
