Personal Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Personal Care Aides in Highland Township, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support to clients in their daily activities, helping them maintain independence and improve their quality of life in a home care setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene
• Help with mobility and transferring clients safely
• Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
• Monitor and report any changes in the client’s health or behavior to supervisors
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Personal Care Aide or in a related care-giving role preferred
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and transferring clients
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, compassionate, and patient demeanor
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred but not required
