Homecare Registered Nurse

Join University Home Care Inc as a a Homecare Registered Nurse providing compassionate and professional nursing care to patients in their homes in the Detroit, MI area. You will play a critical role in supporting patients’ health and wellness by delivering personalized care tailored to individual needs, ensuring the highest quality of service and patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of patients’ health conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient progress and update care plans accordingly.
• Provide patient and family education about health management and disease prevention.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
• Document patient care accurately and timely in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.

Requirements

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in nursing, preferably in home health or related settings.
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize patient needs.
• Reliable transportation to visit patients’ homes throughout Detroit.
• CPR and BLS certification preferred.
