Personal Care Assistant

Join University Home Care Inc as a Personal Care Assistant in Milford, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support and assistance to clients with daily living activities, helping to improve their quality of life and promote their independence.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Help with household chores including meal preparation, light cleaning, and errands
• Monitor and report any changes in client’s condition or behavior to nursing staff or supervisors
• Follow care plans and maintain client confidentiality at all times
• Support clients in adhering to medication schedules under supervision

Requirements

• Prior experience in personal care or related field preferred
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and assisting clients
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
