Home Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Worker to provide essential support and care to clients in their homes in Brighton, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities to promote their independence and well-being while ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed
• Provide medication reminders as needed
• Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, cleaning, and shopping
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
• Report any changes in client condition or environment to appropriate personnel
• Follow care plans and comply with all company policies and procedures

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or a similar caregiving role plus
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus
• Willingness to undergo background checks
