University Home Care Inc is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide home health services in Redford and surrounding areas. This role involves delivering personalized therapy to patients in their homes, helping them regain independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical and functional abilities in their home environments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions to enhance daily living skills.
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with healthcare team members.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and safety measures.
• Maintain compliance with clinical policies, professional standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of Michigan.
• Experience in home health or similar outpatient settings preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel to patient homes.
• Ability to work independently and manage caseload efficiently.
