Personal Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aides to provide quality in-home care to clients in Port Huron, MI. As a Personal Care Aide, you will assist clients with daily living activities to promote their independence and improve their quality of life. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide support with mobility, transferring, and movement as needed.
• Help with meal preparation and feeding according to client needs and preferences.
• Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces.
• Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to supervisors.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients during visits.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.

Requirements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans accurately.
• Reliable transportation to travel to clients’ homes in Port Huron, MI.
• Pass background checks as required by the company.
