Personal Care Aide

Description of the role:

As a Personal Care Aide at University Home Care in Pinckney, MI, you will be responsible for providing assistance and support to clients with tasks related to personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Help clients maintain a safe and clean environment
• Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals
• Document and report any changes in clients' health or behavior

Requirements:

• Two forms of ids and own transportation 
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to care giving
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Basic knowledge of personal care techniques
