Personal Care Aide

Description of the role:

University Home Care in Ypsilanti, MI is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Aide to join our team. As a Personal Care Aide, you will be responsible for assisting clients with daily living activities, providing companionship, and promoting independence.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
• Help clients with mobility 
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding
• Remind clients to take their medication
• Perform light housekeeping tasks

Requirements:

• Driver License and own transportation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift and move clients with mobility issues
• Patience and empathy
