Home Health Aide

Description of the role:

As a Home Health Aide at University Home Care in Ann Arbor, MI, you will be responsible for providing essential care and support to patients in their homes. This role is crucial in ensuring the well-being and comfort of individuals who require assistance with daily activities and personal care.

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
• Administer medication reminders and support with prescribed treatments.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
• Document patient's progress and interactions as per company protocols.

Requirements:

• Experience with hoyer lifts
• Previous experience in home care or similar role preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and empathetic towards patient needs.
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans.
• Reliable transportation, up to date license or ID and car registration
