Occupational Therapist

An Occupational Therapist is responsible for providing therapy to patients in their homes in Detroit MI, with the goal of improving their daily living skills and promoting independence. They develop and implement treatment plans, assess patients' conditions, and monitor progress throughout therapy sessions.

• Evaluate patients' functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapy services to patients, focusing on improving their fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living
• Assess patients' progress and modify treatment plans as necessary
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and nurses
• Educate patients and their families about strategies for improving independence and managing daily tasks
• Maintain accurate and updated patient records

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Michigan
• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
