The Ford Technician is well-versed in diagnosing and fixing complex automotive systems to manufacturer and customer specifications.

PAY IS BASED ON EXPERIENCE EXPECTED SALARY IS $60,000.00 TO $70,000.00 PER YEAR.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Determine and perform services requested on repair orders, making sure to document work
  • Operate and test equipment, hoist, and hand tools
  • Road test vehicles for quality check

 

QUALITIES FOR SUCCESS

  • Experience as a line technician with a major manufacturer
  • General mechanical skills with knowledge of all aspects of automobile repair and maintenance
  • ASE Certifications are preferred – Diesel experience is a plus
  • Good judgment with the ability to operate power and hand tools
  • Must possess a valid IL driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

SCHEDULE:

  • Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
  • Saturday (every 3rd) from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.

 

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

  • The compensation for the Ford Service Technician salary is expected to be $60,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year and depends upon experience.

Hours
  • Monday through Friday from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm
  • Every 3rd Saturday from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm
