ARRT Radiology Exam Tutor

Seeking a knowledgeable and patient Radiology Tutor to help a student prepare for the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Radiography Certification Exam. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of radiography concepts, ARRT exam content, and effective test-preparation strategies.

The tutor will work one-on-one with the student to strengthen understanding of key radiologic technology topics, improve confidence, and develop successful exam-taking skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized tutoring sessions focused on ARRT Radiography exam preparation
• Review core topics including:
  • Patient care
  • Radiation protection and safety
  • Image production
  • Radiographic procedures
• Assist with practice questions, mock exams, and study planning
• Explain difficult radiology concepts in a clear and supportive manner
• Track student progress and adjust lessons based on strengths and weaknesses
• Help improve test-taking strategies and time management skills

Qualifications

• Background in Radiologic Technology, Radiography, or related healthcare field
• ARRT certification preferred
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience strongly preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to simplify complex medical and imaging concepts
• Reliable, organized, and encouraging personality

Compensation

• $35/hour
• Flexible scheduling based on student availability

Preferred Candidate

• Experience helping students prepare for ARRT or similar healthcare certification exams
• Familiarity with current ARRT exam structure and study resources
