Elementary Tutor (Pre-K through 6th Grade) – Wyckoff/Franklin Lakes

Tutor Doctor is a local tutoring company that has proudly served our community for over 11 years. We provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring that helps students build confidence, strengthen academic skills, and discover the joy in learning.

We are currently seeking an Elementary Tutor to support students in grades Pre-K through 6th in the Wyckoff/Franklin Lakes area. The ideal candidate is engaging, patient, and skilled at making learning fun and interactive.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized instruction in core elementary subjects (reading, writing, math, etc.).

• Create engaging lessons that keep students motivated and excited to learn.

• Adapt teaching style to each student’s learning needs, strengths, and goals.

• Communicate progress and updates to parents and Tutor Doctor staff.

• Foster confidence, curiosity, and a positive learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with children (teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or related).

• Strong knowledge of elementary-level curriculum.

• Ability to make learning interactive, fun, and rewarding.

• Reliable transportation to student homes in the Wyckoff/Franklin Lakes area.

• Flexible availability during after-school hours and/or weekends.
