In-Person Tutor Needed – Elementary Level (Multi-Subject)

We are seeking a reliable and engaging in-person tutor to work with three elementary-level students at the Grand Traverse Public Library. The students can be tutored together at the same time in a small-group setting.

Subjects Include

• Math
• Reading
• General elementary-level support
• Other basic multi-subject help as needed

Schedule Details

• Tutoring sessions held twice per week
• 2 total hours per week
• Days and times can be coordinated based on availability

Pay Details

• $18 per hour per student
• Tutor is paid for all three students during the session

Qualifications

• Experience tutoring or teaching elementary-age students
• Strong communication and classroom-management skills
• Ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently
• Dependable and professional
• Background in education or tutoring preferred (but not required)

Work Environment

• Quiet, structured library setting
• Small group instruction
• In-person only
