AP Physics Tutor

About Us:
Tutor Doctor of North San Diego helps students of all ages and abilities succeed by providing personalized, one-to-one tutoring in the comfort of their own home or in community settings. We believe learning should be engaging, customized, and confidence-building.

Position:
We are seeking an experienced AP Physics tutor to work with high school students in Oceanside and Carlsbad. The ideal candidate has a strong background in physics concepts, AP-level curriculum, and test preparation strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one tutoring sessions in AP Physics, in person 

• Help students understand complex concepts, solve problems, and prepare for tests and AP exams

• Adapt teaching style to meet each student’s needs and learning pace

• Track and report progress after each session

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physics, Engineering, or a related field (or currently pursuing)

• Experience teaching or tutoring AP Physics

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Reliable transportation to travel to student homes in Oceanside/Carlsbad
