Tutor, High School English

Description of the role:

Tutor Doctor - North County San Diego is seeking a dedicated and passionate High School English Tutor to join our team in North County San Diego, California. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in English literature and grammar, with a talent for effectively teaching and engaging high school students.

Responsibilities:

• Planning and delivering individualized English tutoring sessions to high school students
• Assessing students' strengths and weaknesses to develop personalized learning plans
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting teaching methods as needed
• Providing constructive feedback to students and their parents/guardians

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or min two years college classes in English, Education, or related field preferred
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience, especially with high school students
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient, empathetic, and able to motivate students
