We are currently looking for Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) who are kind, reliable, and passionate about making a positive difference. As a DSP, you’ll play a direct role in supporting people to reach their goals, gain independence, and live with dignity.

What You'll Do

• Support individuals with their daily routines—this may include personal care, mealtime assistance, and mobility

• Help individuals participate in community activities that align with their interests

• Encourage and assist with skill-building, goal setting, and celebrating progress

• Follow individualized support plans and help document daily services

• Communicate respectfully with individuals, families, and the T&T Cares team

• Document support provided via progress notes and other documentation methods

Schedule & Availability

• Flexible scheduling available—full-time and part-time positions

• Overtime available depending on individual needs and your availability

• Shift types and hours vary based on the individual you are supporting

Who We're Looking For

Basic Requirements

• At least 18 years of age

• Able to pass a State of Oregon background check

• Legally eligible to work in the U.S.

• No history of substantiated abuse or neglect

• Passionate about supporting people with disabilities in a respectful, inclusive environment

Preferred Qualities

• Experience as a DSP, PSW, or caregiver is a plus, but not required

• Comfortable working with adults and/or children with I/DD

• Willing to learn, communicate clearly, and collaborate with a team

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED required

• Experience in home care, education, behavioral support, or related fields is helpful

Physical Expectations

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance

• May be required to assist with transfers or mobility support

• Must be able to move, bend, or stretch during daily tasks or outings

Other Requirements

• Access to a reliable mobile device (used for clocking in/out and progress notes)

• Reliable transportation

• Valid driver’s license and insurance
