DEALERSHIP SERVICE MANAGER

We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated, results-driven Service Manager to lead our established service department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and motivating a service team, ensuring the smooth operation of the service department, and implementing and achieving financial objectives.

Qualifications:

• Prior Service Manager experience with proven record of success.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and people skills.
• Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems and repair process.
• Proven skills to manage and motivate a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Must be eighteen or older with Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Ensure an excellent customer experience throughout the service process.
• Organize and coordinate the daily workflow of the service department.
• Forecast goals and objectives for the service department.
• Hire, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor the performance of the service department staff.
• Foster a positive and collaborative team environment with effective communication.
• Develop marketing strategies to promote new and repeat business.
• Adhere to safety protocols including hazardous waste disposal and OSHA regulations.
• Monitor technicians’ daily work productivity and payroll record.
• Maintain accurate records of repair orders, warranty submissions, and other customer information.
• Ensures the proper care, storage, and inventory of special tools.
• Ensure that all customers are greeted and given fair estimates on costs and time.
• Manages customer complaints immediately and according to dealership's guidelines.
• Establishes and maintains 24-hour follow-up with all customers to confirm satisfaction with the service experience.
