Job Summary:
The Associate Wealth Advisor is responsible for supporting senior advisors in delivering comprehensive wealth management services to clients. This role involves assisting in financial planning, investment strategy development, client relationship management, and ensuring an exceptional client experience. The Associate Wealth Advisor will work closely with clients to understand their financial goals, support portfolio management decisions, and ensure compliance with regulatory and firm policies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Relationship Management:
- Assist in managing client relationships by providing proactive communication and financial guidance.
- Support senior advisors in client meetings by preparing financial reports, investment recommendations, and performance summaries.
- Address client inquiries, process account transactions, and ensure timely resolution of service-related issues.
- Develop and maintain meaningful client relationships through ongoing engagement and follow-ups.
2. Financial Planning & Investment Strategy:
- Support the development of customized financial plans by analyzing client portfolios, risk tolerance, and investment objectives.
- Assist in asset allocation strategies and portfolio rebalancing to align with client goals.
- Conduct research on investment products, market trends, and economic conditions to support portfolio recommendations.
- Collaborate with senior advisors to implement financial strategies, including retirement planning, tax strategies, and estate planning.
3. Portfolio & Account Management:
- Assist in the management of investment accounts, ensuring accurate execution of transactions and portfolio adjustments.
- Monitor portfolio performance, provide periodic reports to clients, and ensure adherence to investment policy statements.
- Ensure proper documentation of financial plans, investment recommendations, and client interactions in CRM systems.
4. Business Development & Team Collaboration:
- Support senior advisors in business development efforts by identifying client needs and opportunities for additional services.
- Assist in preparing marketing materials, presentations, and client proposals.
- Collaborate with operations, compliance, and portfolio management teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in wealth management, financial planning, or investment advisory roles.
- Series 65 (or willingness to obtain) is preferred. CFP® designation or progress toward certification is a plus.
- Understanding of financial planning principles, investment strategies, and wealth management best practices.
- Proficiency in financial analysis tools, CRM platforms, and portfolio management software.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with clients and team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
