This job post is exclusively for the role of staffing for these healthcare companies.   

Job Summary: 

In this role, the RN will work for about 3 months for a home hospice company making home visits. The RN is responsible for overseeing clinical care, developing and implementing the care plan, providing training and supervision to Home Health Aids and LPNs, and coordinating care with other members of the interdisciplinary team. The RN provided care and education to the patient and family at end of life.

Shift:

The hours for this contract are every Saturday & Sunday 8a-8p. 

Area: 

We have 2 positions open. 

North: North Gwinnett, Cobb, North Fulton, North Dekalb, Dunwoody and Sandy Springs.

South: Conyers, Covington, Carrollton, Douglas, Newnan, Henry, Clayton, South Dekalb

(Actual coverage area and patient load will be given after onboarding.)

Registered Nurse Compensation and Benefits:

• Pay starts at $40/hr (Compensation is variable and depends on experience)
• After this contract ends, RN will be placed in our PRN staffing pool. (Compensation is variable and depends on the type of shift/visit, day of the week and complexity of care provided.)
• We offer medical, dental and vision benefits through Cigna if you maintain FT hours (32+/wk)
• PRN pool shifts offered: 8-12 hour shifts, 1 hour nursing visits, 1 hour medication management and assessments visits. 

Registered Nurse Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ condition during every visit and document any observations
• Take and record measurements of vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc.
• Administer medication as ordered by the physician
• Dress or redress open wounds and assess progress of healing
• Continuously educate patients, their families and other caretakers on proper care strategies and procedures
• Provide hospice/palliative care as needed to keep the client comfortable
• Make recommendations for devices, tools or DME that might improve the client’s quality of life
• Listen to patients and families and be prepared to respond to concerns or requests

Registered Nurse Requirements:

• Current unrestricted RN license in GA
• Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification

• Proof of Negative TB test within the last 12 months

• Valid GA driver's license

• Insured and reliable automobile

• Ability to work independently and with directions
• Compassionate and friendly demeanor
• Ability to speak, read and write English fluently

• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to lift and transfer adult patients safely and without restriction

Private Home Care seeking PRN Nurses for 12 hour shifts. We offer one-on-one in-home care in various healthcare settings. Experience working with Elderly, Hospice and Dementia patients is preferred.
