Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-driven Body Shop Technician to join our collision center team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for repairing damaged vehicle bodies and frames, ensuring each vehicle is restored to manufacturer specifications. Whether it’s minor dents or major collision repairs, we’re looking for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship and cares about doing the job right the first time.

 

Job Type & Schedule

Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, daytime hours (occasional Saturdays based on workload)

 

Responsibilities

  • Perform body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and structural realignment

  • Sand, prime, and prep repaired surfaces for painting

  • Repair or replace vehicle frames, subframes, and unibody structures

  • Ensure all work meets manufacturer safety and quality standards

  • Collaborate with estimators and service advisors to review damage reports and plan repair timelines

  • Use frame machines, welders, hand tools, and power tools safely and effectively

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area

  • Follow dealership, manufacturer, and OSHA safety guidelines

 

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of body shop or collision repair experience

  • I-CAR certification or OEM training preferred (but not required)

  • Strong understanding of frame repair, welding, bodywork, and refinishing prep

  • Ability to operate frame machines and use measuring systems

  • High attention to detail and pride in high-quality craftsmanship

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment

  • Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
