Position Summary

The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and sending patient-related correspondence—including care plans, physician orders, and clinical updates—to physician offices. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and send care plans and other clinical documents to physician offices
  • Track and follow up on unsigned orders and outstanding documentation
  • Ensure all correspondence is accurate, complete, and compliant with agency and state regulations
  • Maintain organized records of all communications and documents sent/received
  • Communicate professionally with physician offices, clinicians, and internal staff
  • Assist with coordination of care to ensure timely approvals and continuity of services
  • Monitor deadlines and prioritize tasks to prevent delays in patient care and billing

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Healthcare administration experience preferred)
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in home health or medical office setting
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Kinnser
  • Experience with EVV or HHAeXchange is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
