Tint/PPF Technician

Job Summary

Town East Ford is seeking a detail-oriented Window Tint/Paint Protection Technician. Responsible for applying tint films to vehicle windows, paint protection to the hood, and door edge guards enhancing the car's aesthetic, durability and privacy. This role involves meticulous preparation, precise application, and post-application care.

The technician must ensure compliance with all local and state regulations regarding window tinting. This job requires a combination of technical skills and precision.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prep vehicle windows to remove dirt, dust, and oils
• Measure window dimensions accurately
• Apply tint film using appropriate techniques to avoid bubbles, wrinkles, or imperfections
• Install paint protection film (PPF) to safeguard vehicles against scratches and damage
• Provide final adjustments and ensure the film adheres perfectly
• Ensure all tint jobs comply with legal standards to avoid penalties

Qualifications

• Experience Required: At least 1-2 years of hands-on experience in window tinting and/or paint protection film installation.
• Proficiency in using tools like squeegees, heat guns, utility knives, and cleaning solutions
• Steady hands and good coordination for applying film smoothly
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during application
• Prior experience in window tinting or a related automotive field
• Need to have a valid driver's license & clean driving record
