What You’ll Do

• Accurately deliver parts on time to specified locations following assigned routes.
• Safely load, secure, and unload parts to prevent any damage during transportation.
• Plan and execute delivery routes efficiently to optimize productivity and reduce delays.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication regarding delivery status, providing location updates and estimated times of arrival (ETA) for first, second, third, and additional delivery runs as necessary.
• Deliver professional and courteous customer service at every delivery point.
• Verify delivery orders, obtain signatures on invoices—including authorization of no damage and acknowledgment of a 15% return fee—and ensure all documentation is accurately completed.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and promptly report any maintenance requirements.
• Immediately notify the appropriate Parts Managers of any delivery vehicle issues, ensuring all incidents are properly documented.
• Ensure all onboard electronics are undisturbed, avoiding tampering, unplugging, disabling, or removal.
• Document and report any incidents occurring during deliveries, including accidents, delays, damages, or customer-related concerns.
• Comply fully with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.

What We’re Looking For

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience in delivery driving is preferred.
• Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to work independently and demonstrate accountability.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Basic familiarity with GPS navigation systems and routing applications.
• Ability to lift and carry parts weighing 60 pounds or more.
• Willingness to work outdoors and perform physical tasks in various weather conditions.

Who You'll Be Reporting To

You will report directly to the Parts Manager, David Levin, working closely to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of all automotive parts to support the operations of Tom Bush BMW Orange Park. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the efficiency of our parts distribution while developing your professional skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.
