Hyundai/Kia Journeyman Technician

Job Description:

Thomas KIA of Highland is seeking a skilled and motivated Service Technician to join our growing team.  In this role, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing KIA vehicles while delivering top-tier service and support to our customers.  If you take pride in your work and are passionate about automotive excellence, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine automotive maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, and engine tune-ups.
• Accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with customers, providing clear recommendations for additional services or repairs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment while adhering to dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Work both independently and collaboratively to meet service deadlines without compromising quality.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with Hyundai and KIA vehicles.
• Strong diagnostic abilities and a solid understanding of automotive systems and repairs.
• Proficiency with computerized diagnostic equipment and modern vehicle technology.
• Ability to use a wide range of automotive tools and equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
