Job Summary:

The BDC Representative is responsible for managing all incoming and outgoing calls to and from the dealership. This role is critical in delivering exceptional customer service, setting appointments, following up with leads, and maintaining strong communication with both prospective and existing customers. The ideal candidate is professional, customer-focused, organized, and comfortable working in a high-volume call environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle a high volume of inbound calls from service customers promptly and professionally.
  •  Make outbound calls to follow up on internet leads, service reminders, missed appointments, and customer retention efforts.
  • Schedule appointments accurately for service departments using provided tools.
  •  Respond to customer inquiries and transfer calls to appropriate departments or personnel when necessary.
  • Update and maintain customer information in the CRM or DMS systems.
  • Utilize scripts and templates to ensure consistent communication and message delivery.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing the dealership.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Previous call center, customer service, or dealership experience preferred (not required).
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  •  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office is a plus.

Monthly Performance Standards:

  • Outbound Calls made: 800 – 1,000
  • Appointments Set: Varies Per Location
  • Appointment Show Rate: 80% or higher
