Location: The Village on Morehead, an Independent Living senior community 
Pay Rate: $19.00-$21.00/hour
Shifts Available: 6:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. | 11:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Must be available to work weekends and holidays.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities
•    Ensure the dining room is clean and set up to company standards for all meals and functions.
•    Greet all residents and guests with a smile, ensuring everyone has a place to sit.
•    Take food orders, present them to kitchen staff, and deliver meals promptly and properly.
•    Ensure accurate fulfillment of orders and check food quality and presentation.
•    Quickly respond to resident and guest requests, ensuring their satisfaction.
•    Ensure drinks are poured and refilled timely.
•    Adhere to all food handling, safety, and sanitation standards.
•    Assist in setting tables, removing dirty dishes, disposing of waste materials, and restocking inventory.
•    Assist in cleaning and setting up the serving area according to company standards.
•    Ensure residents’ safety by removing walkers from the dining room and returning them promptly after meals.
•    Make each resident or guest feel valued and take pleasure in serving them.
•    Fully understand the menu and be able to explain selections to residents and guests.
•    Maintain high standards of appearance, cleanliness, and personal hygiene.
•    Attend all required in-service training sessions.
•    Be an active member of the community’s emergency response team.
•    Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Requirements
•    Accredited food handler certification within 60 days as per State guidelines.
•    High School Diploma or GED preferred.
•    6 months to one year of related experience preferred.
•    Great customer service attitude and ability to interact well with staff, residents, and guests.
•    Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
•    Ability to work independently or with others in completing assigned tasks.
