Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and enthusiastic Preschool Assistant Teacher to support the lead teacher in creating a safe, structured, and engaging classroom environment. The ideal candidate enjoys working with young children and helping them grow socially, emotionally, and academically.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher with daily classroom activities and routines

• Support children during play, learning centers, meals, and transitions

• Encourage positive behavior and social interaction

• Help prepare materials and maintain an organized classroom

• Supervise children to ensure safety at all times

• Maintain cleanliness and follow health and safety procedures

• Communicate respectfully with staff and families

Qualifications

• Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred

• Passion for early childhood education

• Patient, caring, and energetic personality

• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

• Ability to pass a background check and meet state childcare requirements

• Schedule: Monday–Friday (hours provided upon hiring)

• Pay: Based on experience
